Thanks for your reply.
I have adjusted the walking path to stop just before the passengers enter the building.
Best regards, Martin.

Sorry I missed this. You would have to stop them short of the building for now. I'll see if I can adjust hit box in a future update.

MSFS Product Support / Norwich Airport passengers
Last post by Martin Wyatt - Sep 18, 2025, 05:34 PM
Hi Gary. I have your wonderful Norwich Airport for MSFS2020.
I am trying to add passengers walking to and from the terminal using GSX Pro.
It basically works but .,..
When the passengers fully enter the Terminal, or start from the Terminal, they jump up onto the roof of the building.
Is this a problem with MSFS2020, or a problem with GSX Pro, or some oddity with your terminal building ??. Perhaps its not fixable !!
With that exception, I am highly delighted with your rendition of Norwich.
Many thanks and best regards, Martin.

MY version of Birmingham airport is now available. I wanted this to be smooth experience. I fly all the time in VR and I ovoid large airport, as everyone I've tried to date is not usable on my VR system. This one is. For details see here: https://uk2000scenery.com/forum/index.php?topic=107.0

Birmingham Airport For MSFS(EGBB) 2025 V1.0.0 22th August2025 **Released**

History:
V1.0.0 22rd August 2025
original

Youtube Video here:

Airport Overview:
Birmingham Airport is located in the West Midlands of England, roughly 8 miles southeast of the city centre. It serves as the UK's seventh busiest airport by passenger numbers, acting as a key hub for both domestic and international travel.

Airport History:
Birmingham Airport (formerly Elmdon Airport) officially opened on 8 July 1939, built on the site of the former Castle Bromwich aerodrome to replace the increasingly inadequate Elmdon airfield. During World War II, the airport was requisitioned by the Air Ministry and served as both an RAF and Royal Navy base—primarily used for flight training and aircraft production. Civilian operations resumed on 8 July 1946, exactly seven years after its opening. Following the war, Birmingham experienced steady commercial growth. In 1984, Terminal 1 was unveiled, followed by the addition of Terminal 2 in 1991, significantly expanding passenger handling capabilities. The two terminals were consolidated into one integrated terminal in 2011—creating today's configuration, featuring gates 1–20 in the old Terminal 2 and the rest in Terminal 1, linked via the Millennium Link. Infrastructure improvements continued into the 21st century—in 2014, major runway extension works concluded, stretching the primary runway 15/33 to 3,052 m (10,013 ft), enhancing the airport's capacity for handling larger aircraft and long-haul flights

Today:
EGBB handles over 12.8 million passengers per year (2024 data) and serves as a major base for airlines such as easyJet, Jet2.com, Ryanair, and TUI Airways

Navigation Details:
Runway 15/33: 3,052 m × 46 m (10,013 ft × 148 ft). ILS Frequency: Both Runways 15 and 33 share the ILS frequency of 110.10 MHz, with respective inbound course headings approximately 148° (RWY 15) and 328° (RWY 33)

Performance optimised:
This scenery is made with performance in mind. As such details you don't see from the cockpit of your aircraft while flying in and out are kept to a minimum. So don't except to walk through the terminal or other parts that can only be seen by slewing to other areas. I believe most flight simmers, fly in and fly out, and the want it to be smooth. Sacrifices have to be made to achieve this goal. If you want to explore the airport coffee shop or checkin, then this is NOT the product for you.

The scenery uses multiple 'LODs' for all the main objects, these lods levels have been made so you don't notice the change over much. This has been tested and developed in VR which is most noticeable platform for visually annoying LOD changes. Setting your FS object Level of details to 80 or higher is a good compromise. You can use 40+ in flat screen and you will not noticed big Lod changes to the models.

Installer common library request

Often the old installers will ask for a specific common library version. Just ignore that. All you need to do is make sure you have the 3.74 version installed(the final version) If you get that request at the end of airport product installation, ignore and close it down.

You make sure the product folder is in the 2024 community folder.

If you do that it will display. If not then it means the folder you think is the community folder is not correct.

You certainly don't rename any files.

Hi Gary,

Just an update on this, BRS are changing the apron layout (https://nats-uk.ead-it.com/cms-nats/export/sites/default/en/Publications/briefing-sheets/EG_2025_025.pdf). Will we be able to see this implemented soon?

Thanks,
James
