Bournemouth Airport (IATA: BOH, ICAO: EGHH) is a regional airport located near the town of Hurn in Dorset, England, approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) north-northeast of Bournemouth city centre. It serves the south of England and nearby areas, offering domestic and international flights to several European destinations, with regular flights via Ryanair and TUI and occasionally EasyJet flights. It has a rich General aviation hub with companies like Draken Europe, AV8, XLR, 'Jets' Thurston Aviation, Gama and many, many more. It is also home to 'European Cargo', with its fleet of Cargo converted A340-600s aircraft.

History
Established: Originally opened in 1941 as RAF Hurn, the airport was initially used for military operations during World War II. After the war, it became a civilian airport and was officially renamed Bournemouth International Airport in the late 1950s.
Growth: The airport experienced significant growth in the 1990s and early 2000s, especially as budget airlines like Ryanair and easyJet began offering more routes to European cities. In the 1960-1980s it was home to Vickers aircraft/British aerospace making the Viscount and BAC1-11 airliners. Another historic operation is 'Draken Europe' specializing in providing adversary air training and other defence-related aviation solutions. It operates a fleet of aircraft that support military training exercises for the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and other international clients. The site was previous called 'Cobham' and before that 'Flight Refuelling' with its now ageing Fleet of falcon 20 aircraft.

Facilities
Terminals: The airport has a single passenger terminal, which is small and easy to navigate compared to larger airports. It offers essential services such as duty-free shopping, cafés, and car rental services.
Parking: There are several parking options, including short-stay, long-stay, and premium parking. Parking can be pre-booked online for better rates.
Transportation: Bournemouth Airport is accessible via public transport (bus and taxi services). The nearest train station is Bournemouth, from which buses or taxis can be taken to the airport. The airport is also close to the A338 dual carriageway, offering convenient road access.
Airlines and Destinations
Bournemouth Airport operates flights to several destinations, mainly across Europe. Common routes include:

Spain: Flights to destinations like Alicante, Malaga, and Mallorca.
Portugal: Popular routes to Faro.
Cyprus: Flights to Paphos.
Seasonal Destinations: Some seasonal routes include Turkey, Greece, and the Canary Islands.
Key airlines operating at Bournemouth Airport include:

Ryanair: A major budget airline, providing many of the low-cost European routes.
TUI Airways: Primarily for holiday charter flights to popular holiday spots.

Sad, Fortunately all my UK2000 excellent scenery airports I have in FS2004 can be copied to a new PC directly from Addon Scenery. So no issue there. You guys did a great job. Many Thanks

I don't sell products direct Peter. So wherever you purchased from is where you download it from.

Our old download system was only meant to be used when purchasing. It's not a forever storage site. It's up to the user to keep there files safe and secure long-term. All old accounts will be closed shortly , with no future downloads possible. (does not effect MSFS ACCOUNTS)

Hi Gary. When I log in to UK2000 there is an option to see list of all the airports I have downloaded (purchased)-showing links to downloads and codes. When I bought a new one it was always added to this list. The Leads airport I recently purchased was not added? Got the picture of my list but do not see the attach facility here. I would like to have it on the list as well. In case I purchase a new PC and need it to be uploaded.

No sure what you mean by list. If you mean the FS2004 scenery library, then maybe you need to add it manually to the scenery library. If you mean your old product account, then please send any query's via the support page here:

Hi. Have purchased EGNM for my FS2004 and it does not show in my UK2000 list. Only the previous 9 airports I purchased show? Any clue?
#28
Thanks for replying Gary. I didn't know about the Options.exe and that seems to have cured it.
#29
Check you install, you should have a AI AFD file in the Glasgow Scenery folder. If not run the options.exe found in the same folder, that will copy if from the options to the scenery folder

Hi there, today I arrived at GLA to find that all the AI aircraft were parked in the wrong places, not at the gates, as you can see in attached screengrab. It's almost like they're parked according to a different AFCAD (is that the right word??), perhaps for the default airport? I also noticed the progressive taxi indications weren't along the right line. I've got ORBX Scotland but it's been working fine with that up till now and I can't think of anything else I've done or got that might be causing a problem or conflict. Parking at my UK2K Edinburgh seems to be normal but haven't checked my other UK2K products yet.

Any ideas about what might be causing this and how I can cure it?

Thanks in advance.

Neil
