MSFS Product Updates & News / Direct Ordering is back!
Last post by Gary Summons - Feb 08, 2025, 10:35 AM
After a year of using just resellers, I've realising it's not working out for me. I've decided to go back to limited Direct ordering, but with a different system.

For now It's only FS2020/2024 products, if you want to order for the older/other sims, then It's still the simmarket.

Main difference is products links are purely done VIA email only. There is no online customer account. However you can still get a reissue of your links via email.

Updates work fine as will, your email links will download the latest version. So the most important thing here is STORE your email!

To order, click here

To be notified of product updates, then the best way is to subscribe

The University of Illinois Willard Airport(KCMI) 2025 30th January 2025 **Released**

Youtube Video here:

The University of Illinois Willard Airport (ICAO: KCMI) s located south of Savoy in Tolono Township. The airport was dedicated on October 26, 1945, and named after Arthur Cutts Willard, who served as the university's president from 1934 to 1946. Scheduled airline service commenced in 1954. The original terminal, constructed in 1960, was replaced by the current facility in 1987.
In 1946, the university established the Institute of Aviation at Willard Airport, offering flight training and conducting research into aviation-related human factors. In 2014, Parkland College assumed responsibility for the flight training program.  By 1969, Willard Airport had become the second-busiest airport in Illinois. However, following the Airline Deregulation Act of 1978, many airlines reduced services to smaller airports, leading to a decline in passenger numbers at Willard. Despite these challenges, the airport continues to operate, currently offering non-stop flights to Chicago O'Hare and Dallas-Fort Worth through American Airlines.

For general aviation passengers, Flightstar provides amenities including crew cars, lounges, conference rooms, and an exercise room with shower facilities.

University of Illinois Willard Airport is also famous as one of the few airports that were included in the early versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator, when all we had were a few of lines drawn on a blue and green background!

Legacy products for older Sims / Account system closed
Last post by Gary Summons - Jan 28, 2025, 09:05 PM
The old login account system has now closed.

Instead when you click the login link, it will be asked for your email, a list of your product links will then be sent to that email. Once you have this list, keep it safe or better still once you have downloaded the product files, keep them safe.

If your account email is different from your current active email, then you need to enter both.

Gary I'm on Xbox MSFS 2024 and while the Guernsey scenery has come across from MSFS2020, the core library has not (so no cars, aircraft, etc). This may not be anything you have any control over, or I may need to wait until the MSFS 2024 Marketplace is activated. In MSFS 2024, it seems to add its own random fuel bowsers and other items in addition to yours.

MSFS Product Support / Re: MS Marketplace issues

The delivery of updates on the MS Marketplace has been appalling recently. I got so fed up of waiting for a runway alignment upgrade to be uploaded for another developer's product (no sign of it after THREE MONTHS), that I (successfully) sent an order transfer request to move my purchase to the developer's site so that I could get the latest version. Absolutely ridiculous. The arrival of MSFS 2024 is no excuse.

MSFS Product Support / MS Marketplace issues
Last post by Gary Summons - Dec 13, 2024, 11:35 AM
I'm aware that MS still don't make available some of your MSFS2020 purchases of UK2000 Airports in MSFS2024, I think Newquay is an example. I dont know why, MS have not responded to me on this matter, The airport certainly does works fine in 2024.

I'm sure at some point this will be sorted, but if your desperate to use it, then providing you can give me some proof of purchase I can send a ZIP, this will just be a short term gesture, The whole point of using sellers like the Marketplace and Simmarket is that they take on the responsibility of content delivery not me. Please use our support form to request a ZIP version along with proof of purchase form the MS Marketplace.
