About this model
An airport VOR beacon (VHF Omnidirectional Range) is a ground-based radio navigation aid used by aircraft to determine their position relative to the airport and navigate to and from the airport. It works by emitting radio signals in all directions (omnidirectional) and is typically located at or near airports to help pilots with both enroute navigation and approaches to the airport.
These VOR structure swill vary depending on the construction team who build them , so very rarely are they exactly the same. This example is similar to most UK VORs . If you would like a specific type, then please get in touch with photos.
