Changes to suit MSFS2024 and Runway Extension added

Henderson Executive Airport KHND was founded in 1967 as a public airport located in Henderson, Nevada, 13 miles south of Las Vegas. Originally known as Sky Harbor Airport. Clark County bought the airport in 1996 and renamed it Henderson Executive Airport. One quirk is the FAA identifier is HNS and not HND which was already given to Haneda Airport in Tokyo. Over the years, Henderson Executive Airport has experienced several expansion projects to enhance its infrastructure and services. These expansions included runway extensions, improved taxiways, updated terminal buildings, and the addition of various amenities.

Henderson Executive Airport has established itself as a vital general aviation hub with over 200 aircraft movements a day, catering primarily to private and corporate aircraft operations. The airport provides services such as refuelling, hangar rentals, maintenance, and flight training. It has a large Tourist Helicopter base called 'Maverick Helicopter' on the south side, giving pleasure flights in the area. Henderson Executive Airport serves as a vital gateway for private and corporate aviation, contributing to the economic development of Henderson and the greater Las Vegas area. It provides convenient access to the city's entertainment, business, and recreational destinations, offering a valuable alternative to the larger McCarran International Airport.

The airport is at a altitude of 2,492 feet (760 m) and has 2 runways
17R/35L is 6,501 by 100 ft
17L/35R is 5,001 by 75 ft

Runway 35L and 35R has a higher Glideslope of 4.3' compared to the normal 3'

Our scenery is made with HD photographic images that uses PBR materials. With high detail models researched and based on the real airport, including both large and small details to enhance your flight SIM experience. With the advantages of the MSFS engine, we can now bring you sloping runways and enhanced lighting effects not previously possible with other simulators. In addition to airport scenery, we also include general aviation static aircraft scenery to complement and enhance the airport, but will not affect or clash with AI traffic. The scenery is based on the airport as it was in 2023, and is optimized for the new MS flight sim.
